About Red Bank Regional.

Little Silver, Red Bank, and Shrewsbury are served by the comprehensive regional four-year public high school and school system known as Red Bank Regional High School (commonly abbreviated as RBR).  Since 1928, the institution has held accreditation from the Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Students can enroll in the school's vocational program as a major in one of the many programs, such as the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA), the Academy of Information Technology, the Academy of Finance, Engineering, and Graphic Communications, from anywhere in Monmouth County as long as they pay tuition. The Interactive Media Academy (Media Production Academy) is part of the VPA. The school was ranked 45th in New Jersey in The Washington Post's 2011 "Ranking America's High Schools" article. In its June 2010 article, "America's Best High Schools 2010," Newsweek included RBR on its list of the nation's top high schools, placing it at 1,557 overall.
